So very true! I recently read a statement that Beth Moore wrote in which she said that she loves her husband more healed rather than well. That hit home for me. I know I am a better friend, sister, daughter, wife and mother because of my pain that I've experienced, but it is so easy to wallow in my sorrows rather than trust God and know that He is there for me no matter what. It's a daily fight for me to lift my head up and ask God to help me through each day, rather than try to walk alone. Thanks for the reminder:)

This is so true. I pray for other people, even ask prayer for other people but going through some pretty rough times in my own life and feels afraid to let people in. Afraid to even let church family and friends know..afraid of being judged. Thanks for the word today, your post inspires me in many ways!
