Trust...

I have some things on my heart today that are causing me to become quite anxious! This is not a state I usually find myself in and I don't like it! I have been calling out to the Lord a lot this morning and a number of times I have heard, "Don't let your heart be troubled." I looked this verse up in The Message and I love what it says...

John 14:1 (MsgB)
"Don't let this throw you. You trust God, don't you? Trust me.

I do trust Him because He has always proven Himself trustworthy. I am finding myself singing this a lot today...

Blessed Be Your Name
In the land that is plentiful
Where Your streams of abundance flow
Blessed be Your name

Blessed Be Your name
When I'm found in the desert place
Though I walk through the wilderness
Blessed Be Your name

Every blessing You pour out
I'll turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in, Lord
Still I will say

Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name

Blessed be Your name
When the sun's shining down on me
When the world's 'all as it should be'
Blessed be Your name

Blessed be Your name
On the road marked with suffering
Though there's pain in the offering
Blessed be Your name

Every blessing You pour out
I'll turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in, Lord
Still I will say

Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name

Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name

You give and take away
You give and take away
My heart will choose to say
Lord, blessed be Your name

My heart's desire is that I would be able to sing blessed be the Name of the Lord no matter what may come my way! In the meantime...Breathe in, breathe out! Breathe in, breathe out!

  1. Psalm 55:22 Pile your troubles on God's shoulders—
he'll carry your load, he'll help you out.
    He'll never let good people
    topple into ruin.
