Before my Granny died, she gave me 2 sets of sheets. After she died I knew I wanted to do something with them that was special! I think she'd love it...
Oh- I love your quilt!!!!!!! So beautiful and what an heirloom to pass down. I wish I was a "Cash kid"! I also love your blog! Girl, I need some lessons!!
I just made my first Farm Chick recipe this morning. The cherry breakfast swirl, mmmmmmm! I haven’t tasted it yet, but it sure does look pretty! Smith felt like he had a little piece of Barb in the kitchen this morning...
I want to make everything in it!! By the way the, perfect timing on the cookbook... I'm supposed to start the Daniel Fast on Tuesday!!! I'm either going to have to cook fast or wait a whole month before I can try everything..:(
Also, the picture in the front showing only legs, aprons and feet... should be our picture! I just love it!
It's beautiful, Barb! My daughter wanted me to teach her how to make a quilt some time back...but I have no clue! :( It's a lovely way to keepsake something from your Granny in such a special way!
I am a wife and homeschool Mama! My dh and I spent over 20 years in full-time sports ministry and he is now the lead pastor at The Oasis Church in Loganville, GA. We have 5 awesome children and I am a writer and a speaker, a boo-boo kisser, head chef, cheerleader and counsellor.
I have a passion for helping women understand their true worth ... their worth in their relationship with Jesus Christ and their worth in all they do as wives, mamas and home-makers. Society does a great job of distorting the lens that we base our reality on!!
I always have many thoughts rambling around in my head and this blog helps me make sense of it all! Writing is a way for me to bring order to my mind and clarity to those scrambled thoughts!
I hope you'll hang around and be encouraged!!
